Application for China Trip

China Trips are open to all students in semesters 2-8 & alumni. Application deadline for the China trip is August 16th. Turn in the following:

  1. Passport (Must be valid for at least 6 months past the date of visa application and must have at least 1 empty page left). Must be clean & without significant damage.

  2. Two passport size photo

  3. Visa application: To download Visa application right click here.

    *Special Application Note: Fill out ONLY your name (as it appears on your passport) & you passport number. All applications will be completed and submitted as a group by our agent.

  4. Deposit fee of $500 (includes the passport fee).

  5. Download this file, Print & Sign China trip Student Contract.

  6. Place all application materials in an unsealed envelope, clearly write your name on the envelope and submit to the WMI Main Office in Aina Haina.

  7. When turning in your application, notify the office if requesting a payment plan.

  8. If applying for Financial Aid, do so no later than August 20th.

Itinerary

Approximately 1 week in each of the following areas: Beijing, Xian, Cheng Du, Shen Zhen

Curriculum

The China Trip is for academic and cultural enrichment. Students attending the China Trip are required to fulfill all of the standard academic requirements for the Fall semester, including Clinic, biomedicine, TCM, treatment & needling & herbal medicine.

Courses given in China will be given in the form of lectures and onsite demonstrations at hospitals, clinics and universities.

Estimated Cost

$5000 Includes transportation, room and board. Does not include drinks other than what comes with the meal, or tips for drivers and translators.

Preparation

Pack only what you can carry on the plane! One carry on size suitcase and one personal item bag, no more.

Learn as much conversational Chinese as you can. If you don't you will spend the trip wishing you had. Try Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone for Mandarin.
